We are a vibrant Company that provides SAFFRON of best standards & is committed to long-term sustainable growth and quality.

Headquartered in J&K (India), the Company insists on honesty, integrity and fairness in all aspects of its business. This has earned it the trust and respect and is acknowledged amongst Valley’s ‘Most Respected Companies’. With Kashmiri saffron as our flagship business we pride ourselves in having a strong foothold in saffron business since 3 decades.

Crazy as this may seem each flower takes 14 months to grow, only to produce 3 of these small threads it takes an amazing 95-1,00,000 flowers to produce 500gms or 1/2kgs weight of saffron threads. That is a labour some cultivation for just half a KG and it all has to be done by hand and manual labour. Every stage involved in before and after of Saffron cultivation is carried out by hand which include planting the corms, hoeing the weeds and handpicking flowers.

The gatherers have inherited their skills directly from their ancestry dating back to the most prosperous period for Saffron (15th–18th centuries). This delicate technique includes enclosing each flower in the palm of the hand, cutting the stem with the finger-nails, and repeating it thousands of times. The next process of skilfully separating the stigmas from the fragile petals. This is followed by the risky business of drying.

Any saffron threads which are too brittle or too damp will not be further processed for the consumers of the company. In fact, 200,000 flowers are needed to obtain one kilo of dried saffron. Once removed and dried, the stigmas are hand handed over to skilled workers with decades of experience and knowledge about hand crafting of these stigmas, to make it polished and top grade.
